vector drawing

I used vector drawing programs a lot, but nothing seems to be doing any good on my well buried art skills.
But some people with a simple strokes and scratch managed to show great talent in art. For example i luv the work by michael wertz here.
he's very talented illustrator and his works were beautiful.
